Participation is subject to accreditation by the Doctors’ Health SA Accreditation Committee which considers the following criteria:
- a desire to help others in the profession
- GP Fellowship
- active participation in the DHSA training curriculum
- adherence to the highest standards of confidentiality
- unconditional registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- Vocational Registration with Medicare
- satisfactory Police Check
- satisfactory Medical indemnity insurance
The educational curriculum of the program is determined by the program’s Curriculum Committee and is based on adult learning principles, feedback from previous seminars and literature reviews. The annual seminars are fully accredited by ACRRM, RACGP QI&CPD programs and have attracted 4 MIGA IRM program points.
